THE CREATION PROJECT SHOWCASE
The CREATION Project is the culmination of the first year-long new works and professional development program created by the CD Forum. With funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, The CREATION Project supports creation of new work by Seattle's African-American performing artists. A panel of professional artists and administrators selected six participants representing a range of performing arts disciplines. Each participant received a stipend and participated in professional development seminars and peer discussions starting in June 2007. The CREATION Project represents the diversity and excellence of local contemporary performing artists.
